10. Four Kings-this was a very short lived comedy starring Seth Green that lasted a whopping 7 episodes about four guys who have been best friends for most of their lives and now live together in an apartment one of them inherited from their grandmother....I liked it-but I am pretty sure I was the only one watching.
9. Boston Common- a fun college comedy from the 90's starring Anthony Clark and Traylor Howard. A guy named Boyd moves to Boston to spy on his sister while she is attending college--it made me laugh!
8. Freaks and Geeks-a great show that was on for less than a season in 1999. It stars James Franco, Linda Cardellini and Busy Phillips (among others) and is about life in high school in the '80's. Really well written and fun to watch, it was given a bad time slot so it never had a chance.
7. The Class-this show is about a guy named Ethan who is living with his childhood sweetheart and as a surprise throws her a party and invites all of the people from their 3rd grade class for a little reunion. The ones that do show up start hanging out together and we get to watch what happens! This show starred Jason Ritter (son of the late John Ritter) and was a great comedy. It won an Emmy and was nominated for another, but it just didn't have enough viewers.
6. That was Then- Okay, I love the premise of this show. Everyone has moments from their school years that they wish they could go back and do over. This show was about that exact thing. A guy travels back in time and does over the things that he wishes he could change and then experiences the way it changes his life in the present. This show was in a bad time slot and got cancelled after 3 episodes! But Greg and I really did enjoy those episodes....
5. Titus--a comedy written loosely about the life of comedian Christopher Titus. This was such a funny show and had so many laugh out loud moments!!! But, not enough viewers = buhbye Titus.
4. My So Called Life--alright, as you can see from the last 5 shows, I like to laugh. But, there are times in life when you want to think, feel, and brood a little. That was what My So Called Life was there for. Claire Danes starred as Angela--a 15 year old high school student. The show just followed her life and experiences as a teenager. It was realistic and dealt with things that actual high school students dealt with in the 90's. It was extremely well written and acted, so of course that means that it was cancelled after a year.
3. Veronica Mars--I loved this show....a teenage girl solving real mysteries (not like Nancy Drew figuring out who at the last cookie) and still trying to have a normal life. Starring Kristen Bell, this show had it all; mystery, romance, and comedy. But, the CW decided to make room for such gems as The Game.
2. Gilmore Girls--Mothers and daughters-the relationship has been made into television programming for many years-but none quite as well as with the lovely, witty, Gilmore girls.
The banter between Lorelei and Rory alone was reason enough to tune in week after week, but throw in the wonderful story lines and you have a hit!
And my pick for number one TV show that has been cancelled is.........................................theme song please...............................................................................................................................................
